PLAYER BIO
Turner, one of the Crusaders’ brightest young talents, joined the club in 2023 after attending a taster session alongside his father and fellow Crusaders player, Martin Turner. Despite being new to both the club and the sport, he quickly became a key member of the Crusaders ‘A’ side during their undefeated 2023 campaign.
Primarily playing on the wing, Turner is recognised for his pace, ball-handling ability, and confidence on the court. His performances have earned praise from teammates, coaches, and opposition clubs alike, resulting in him receiving more Player of the Match awards than any other player within the squad during his early seasons.
Turner has rapidly established himself as one of the Crusaders’ standout performers, combining individual success with a key role in the club’s domestic achievements. His exceptional 2024 season saw him break the club record for most tries in a single campaign, scoring 55 tries across all competitions.
By the age of 16, Turner had already become the highest points scorer in the history of the WRL Wheelchair Invitational League across its first three seasons. Having made his try-scoring debut in the competition aged just 13, his tries and goals have played a significant role in the Crusaders' continued success.
His outstanding form attracted interest from Super League clubs, leading to a move to Wigan Warriors ahead of the 2026 season. Despite this, he remains an important member of the Crusaders’ Welsh League side.

Representative Honours:
Turner received his first Wales call-up ahead of the 2025 friendly fixture against the UK Armed Forces, following in the footsteps of his father, Martin Turner, who also represented Wales.
