Ethan Neilson

PLAYER BIO

Neilson, currently the youngest player within the Crusaders squad, joined the club towards the latter stages of the 2023 season and quickly made his mark despite his young age.

Making his debut in the curtain-raiser to Stuart Williams’ Farewell Game against Warrington Wolves ‘A’, Neilson announced his arrival by scoring on his first appearance for the club. He continued to play an important role throughout the campaign and was responsible for one of the most memorable moments of the season, scoring the try that secured the Crusaders ‘A’ side the Championship North title.

Despite only recently joining the club, Neilson’s contributions and attitude earned him significant recognition within the squad. In a reflection of the esteem in which he was held, he was selected by the club to lift the Championship North trophy alongside the team captain following the Grand Final victory.

As one of the club’s most promising young players, Neilson continues to develop his game and remains an exciting prospect for the future.
