N Evans joined the Crusaders in 2025 after discovering that the club trained at his local leisure centre and deciding to give Wheelchair Rugby League a try. He was quickly introduced to competitive action, with his early appearances helping build his confidence and establish him within the squad.

Primarily playing on the wing, Evans is known for his defensive ability, tackling, and willingness to link up with teammates in attack. Despite being relatively new to the sport, he enjoyed an impressive debut season and quickly demonstrated his potential as one of the club’s emerging young players.

His first campaign saw Evans play his part in the Crusaders’ Welsh Cup success, including featuring against Torfaen Tigers in the final. He also highlights the club’s performance against Wigan Warriors in the Challenge Cup as one of the standout moments of his career so far.

N Evans’ development was recognised at the club’s End of Season Awards, where he was named both Most Improved Player and Welsh League MVP of the Year. His growing influence within the squad also saw him given the opportunity to captain the Crusaders in Welsh League competition.

N Evans also plays Wheelchair Basketball. Away from sport, he is a keen Leeds United supporter and enjoys gaming, watching films and football. As a full-time wheelchair user, Evans initially felt nervous about participating in sport but has embraced the opportunity since joining the Crusaders
