PLAYER BIO

Joining the Crusaders as a founding member back in 2013 as the clubs youngest player, joining the Crusaders at just 9-years-old as a means to assist his transition into a full-time wheelchair user.

Making his debut against Dartford at the 2015 Spring Slam, he soon broke into the Crusaders squad upon the launch of the club's 'A' team. Baker has been one of the clubs most consistent award winner, claiming the clubs first two 'Young Player of the Year' award in 2015 and 16.

Known for his kicking ability both out of hand and off the tee, Baker became a constant in the Crusaders 'A' which seen him have a breakout season in 2019, ending the season with a conversion success rate of 98.2%.

Following his break-out season, Baker was regularly training with the clubs first team and was called-up midway through the 2021 season, since this he has been a constant in the team. 2023 saw Baker have a breakout season for the first team which culminated in him being awarded the Championship Player of the Year by the RFL following last years Grand Final.
