PLAYER BIO

Turner who has a lethal combination of size and ball handling skills, was a fundamental part of the Crusaders ‘A’ side and later the club’s ‘first team’ since joining the club in 2023. Turner, born in Basingstoke, is primarily utilised as either a centre/ pivot or as an inside/ middle.

Also noted for his leadership skills, Turner has received a high level of praise for his overall development within the sport, especially as 2023 was his debut season. Turner is also an accomplished Masters player in the running game, representing the Chester Gladiators for a number of seasons now, including being the only other player to feature in both elements of Harry Jones’ Testimonial last season.

Turner who was named as the clubs captain ahead of their inaugural Welsh League season, was also named the clubs Most Improved Player at the clubs annual End of Season Awards ceremony.
