PLAYER BIO
Roberts, known for her exceptional speed, agility, and attacking flair, has been a key member of the Crusaders since joining the club in 2017.
Making her debut at the final edition of the annual Spring Slam pre-season tournament, Roberts quickly established herself as one of the club’s most dangerous attacking players. Renowned for her ability to beat defenders and create scoring opportunities, she has become one of the Crusaders’ most prolific try scorers, finding the scoresheet in the vast majority of her appearances and earning recognition as one of the leading female players in the sport.
Her consistent performances at club level have attracted widespread praise, culminating in a landmark achievement when she was named Player of the Match in the Championship Grand Final victory over Wigan Warriors ‘A’. In doing so, Roberts became the first female player to receive the award in an RFL Wheelchair Rugby League Grand Final.
Born and raised in Wrexham, Roberts has overcome severe dyslexia to excel across multiple sporting disciplines. Alongside her success in Wheelchair Rugby League, she has also represented Llangollen Rugby Club in rugby union and has pursued training as both a firefighter and a member of the armed forces. Away from sport, she remains actively involved in the performing arts community, having performed on stage before becoming a member of a sign language choir that has appeared at major events across the region.

Representative Honours:
Roberts made history in 2018 by becoming the first full Wales international born in the 21st century when she represented Wales Wheelchair against Scotland and Ireland at the age of just 17. She has since established herself as a regular international player and remains one of the most accomplished female athletes to represent both the Crusaders and Wales Wheelchair Rugby League.
