Known for her sheer speed and agility, Roberts has been a key feature of the Crusaders since joining in 2017.

Roberts made her debut for the Crusaders in 2017 at the final edition of the annual Spring Slam pre-season tournament, noted for her turn of pace and ability to evade defenders, Roberts has brought high praise for her stand-our performances at both domestic and international level.

Roberts is one of the Crusaders most prolific try scorers as she has scored in almost all of her appearances for the club since joining and has become one of the sports leading female players.

Her consistant performances for club has brought her praise by the higher-ups which culminated in being awarded Player of the Match at last years Championship Grand Final victory over Wigan Warriors 'A', this meant that Lucie had become the first ever non-male player to be awarded Player of the Match at an RFL Wheelchair Rugby League Grand Final.
