Joining the Crusaders ahead of the 2022 season after attending a taster session with University of Chester and Cheshire Phoenix.
Booth had a strong season in 2022, picking up the club coveted 'Most Improved Player' award at the club's annual awards night.
Known for their versatility on court, Booth is more than capable to play all five positions of Wheelchair Rugby League but is most commonly utilised as an inside/ middle. Booth had a stellar 2023 season, securing multiple awards by both the club as well as claiming the Top Try Scorer in the Championship North, scoring 10 tries in just four games. This form waranted a call-up to the 'first team', making their debut in the Play-Off Semi Final victory over Bradford Bulls.
The 2024 season will see Jess sponsored by, PAR Booth, a family business specialising in all things gardening.
