PLAYER BIO
Mitchell-Jones, a founding member of the Crusaders since 2013, was appointed the club's first captain ahead of its inaugural season and has remained one of the most influential figures in the club's history.
Known for his game management, kicking ability, and eye for a try, Mitchell-Jones has been one of the Crusaders' most consistent attacking threats. During the 2019 season, he set a then club-record haul of 52 tries and became the first Crusaders player to score both a conversion and a drop-goal. In 2023, he further cemented his place in club history by becoming the first player to reach 100 appearances for the Crusaders.
His rugby league journey began through the Street Rugby initiative in 2010 before progressing into the running game with North Wales Wanderers and Wrexham Bradley Raiders. Following a series of knee and shoulder injuries, he transitioned to Wheelchair Rugby League in 2013, becoming one of the Crusaders' earliest registered players and helping shape the club from its foundation.
Away from playing, Mitchell-Jones has played a significant role in the growth of the sport as a qualified match official and one of the key figures involved in establishing the WRL Wheelchair Invitational League. He has also enjoyed a successful career as a semi-professional dancer, performing in pantomime productions across Wrexham for more than two decades.

Representative Honours:
Mitchell-Jones became the fifth captain of the Wales Wheelchair side in 2015 and is Wales Rugby League's record appearance holder, earning more than 40 consecutive international caps since his debut.
Away from rugby sport, he has spoken openly about living with Myoclonic Epilepsy and was hospitalised during the 2017 Wheelchair Rugby League World Cup in France.
