North Wales Crusaders make the trip to Cheshire for their first away game of the season.
North Wales Crusaders are on the road for the first time this season as they take on Warrington Wolves for the in what promises to be an entertaining affair.
The two sides who last met at the midway point of last season which saw the Crusaders come away with an 76-30 victory over the future Super League side.
Prior to this meeting the two sides have met a large number of times with the Wolves still looking to score their first victory over the Crusaders' 'First Team' since their inception
The Wolves will be looking to looking to score just their second victory of the season as they face the Crusaders after some poor form, falling to Rochdale in the season opener, Hereford just a week later and last week they shockingly fell 28-24 to Widnes Vikings. The only glimpse of positive form in this run for the Wolves was a 20-point victory over Championship West newbies, Salford Red Devils.
The Wolves who have been awarded a place in the Betfred Super League for the 2026 season will be looking to lean on their experienced players in Liam Appleton who earlier in the year was named in the England Futures program along with veteran Mick Brown, Brad Gleave and former Ireland international Nash Jennings. They will also be hoping that Head Coach and member of the England coaching staff, Ian Stapleton will be able to guide them into a stronger second half of the season.
