North Wales Crusaders host fierce rivals Rochdale Hornets in the Championship West.
North Wales Crusaders are once again at home this weekend as they take on Rochdale Hornets for the in what promises to be an entertaining affair.
This last meeting between the two sides saw North Wales defeat the Hornets 84-16 in the Crusaders final game of the regular 2024 Championship West campaign.
Rochdale will be looking to continue their recent run of form after recording a 46-38 victory in their season opener against future Super League side, Warrington Wolves before pushing table toppers, Hereford Harriers to the absolute limit just on in a highly entertaining encounter we week later which saw the Harriers come away with the 44-28 victory but the Hornets the moral victory.
The Hornets will also be looking to get one up on the Crusaders as the Hornets were the only team to defeat the Crusaders at home last season before the Crusaders got their revenge in the season closer.
The Hornets will be looking to utilise the experience of a number of their international players, Pete Lauder and Callum Young, both of whom are highly decorated Scotland internationals with the former also being a former Super League player with both Leyland Warriors (now Wigan Warriors) and Warrington Wolves, where he was joined by fellow teammate Kyran Holt.
